my day today;

9 am; woke up
9.20; got out of bed, did my morning business
9.40; crawled behind the computer, checked everything.
saw an adorable thing on youtube.
10.05; got dressed, did my make-up, did my hair, went downstairs
10.20; made breakfast, ate it while reading viva.
10.50; went to work and got 20€ from my aunt.
11.15; finally started working.
13.15; arrived back at home, had some lunch.
between 13.30 and 15.00; played battlefield, wrote something, played some more battlefield, spied on the mail-woman.
15.00; watched my new manics DVD that arrived in the mail. <3
15.45; played some more battlefield.
17.00; typing this crap.

pretty much the same as yesterday. i don't do awesome things.

anyway, battlefield is still awesome, though it gives me a bit of a headache, because i walk through the game as if my soldier is drunk or something. today i killed 50 enemies in one go 8D i blew up a barrel with oil or whatever and they happened to stand around it.
and i blew up several helicopters and boats. it's so fucking epic. i also keep shouting and yelling while playing it.
though, i still get shot, A LOT. and then i usually end up with a sniper instead or a normal automatic gun. and then, i get shot again lol.
snipers are slow guns yet effective. ...like when you blow up barrels. >: D

as i said, i got my manic street preachers live dvd in the mail today. i was shocked by all the richey wannabe's/look a like's/cosplayers what you will. they all looked pretty horrible XDD.
anyway, they played some epic songs. like Faster, kevin carter, la tristesse durera and many more.
australia had quite some energy so did kevin carter.

it also included some backstage and preperation footage, some photo's and special clips.
including nicky being sprayed with champaign and screeching; IT'S FUCKING FREEZING.

i'm really excited for the dir en grey show.
it's been a long time since i've been at a really great live.
in fact, i think the last show i really enjoyed was when dir en grey was in amsterdam lol.
all the other bands after that were nice as well, but it doesn't hold the same energy for me than seeing dir en grey..

i really hope i'll be able to see Stone Temple Pilots and Manic Street Preachers one day..

What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? Would you eat it again?

View 501 Answers

i once ate a grasshopper. all the way from africa.
you see, my cousin lives in Africa, Tanzania. when she came back to holland for a few weeks, she brought fried grasshoppers.
she gave some to her (and my) aunt, and when we were visiting her, she presented us the grasshoppers.
the removed the legs and such, but the eyes were still in it. and i was really hesitant to eat one, my mom immediatly digged in though.
i finally ate one. they were really crunchy and really salty. they kind of tasted of potato chips, but with a bit less flavour on them.
i didn't particularly like it, but i didn't hate it either. i hated the grapejuice i washed it away with, more.

i think, if i were to be in africa, i'd eat it, as a snack. i don't know if it actually has salt on it, but salt is sometimes good, so.
and maybe if my cousin brought them again, i'd eat one again, but it's not something i'd like to eat on regular base.

they kind of look like small shrimps to me..

What is the most annoying sound in the entire world?

View 500 Answers

i just HAD to answer this one.

first off; the sound of our housephone ringing.
it's a digital phone or something, so you can change the sounds, and my parents prefer our current one.
it's much like.. TULULULULU. or something, it's hard to explain.
but it doesn't want me to pick up the phone, i just turn my music louder.

secondly; the neighbours' jack russel dog. because it doesn't bark.
it always get's so hyped up that he makes all kind of strange sounds, as if he's dying.
(and he attacked me twice)

i really hate common sounds you hear a lot. everyday things, you know.
you eventually hear it so much, and as soon as you pay attention to it, it get's REALLY annoying.

wouldn't it be easier to live in america, just for the sake of gigs, every now and then?
or just to be really, really rich. bill gates style.

DO WANT.
WANT
WANT
WANT.

it would be great if he'd come to europe one day. wether it be solo or with STP.
AND also have a special contest like this.
though, i probably would be unable to eat.. seriously. what the hell would i say to him anyway?
XD it would be awesome, but maybe it's better to keep idols on this fair distance.
keep the fantasy alive, yes?

BUT IT STILL WOULD BE FUCKING AWESOME TO MEET HIM.

ok bye now.

okay, there's this wholesale site that sells great shoes and bags and stuff.
most of them are around 10/11 dollars.
but the catch is, you only can order of a minimum of 100 dollars.

i really would want to order some shoes on this site, but that means i have to buy 10 shoes in order to get to that minimum of 100 dollar.
so, my question was, if there are more people here interested in this, so we can order together and split shipping as well.

i probably won't charge you if you live inside of europe. because shipping would have to go through me.

tell me if you're interested. don't comment if you aren't.

fuck
and again, in summer, my computer broke down.
just like 2 years ago.
and with the exact same reason probably.
when i start it, it works for 2 seconds before it stops again.
i tried everything, so did my brother.
only now i'm lucky my parents have a laptop, which i'm using now.
but this really sucks man, ALL my music is probably gone, ALL my pictures.
my thousands of dir en grey pictures T__T

so yeah, if i'm being moody or if i'm gone for a period of time, you know why.

so yesterday i came back from Berlin. it was loads of fun but i'm happy to be back. this post will be quite imageheavy! monday my mom took me to school, where the bus would leave at 8.30 AM. we settled at the far back of the bus and it was quite comfy. an hour later we crossed the dutch/german border. and at around 4.30 pm we arrived at Potsdamer platz in Berlin. so we could hang around there for an hour before we would leave to meet with our guest-families. our family was really nice. nice room, nice breakfast every morning, good lunches, good dinners. our curfew was 1 AM and we got the key so we wouldn't have to wake everyone up. we were in the center of east-berlin, we could walk 5 minutes to alexander-platz and like 10 minutes to neotokyo (which we only discovered on thursday XD) that evening we went to drink some with other classmates, which was really nice. we were with like 15 people, and our bill was 82 euros.
monday )

tuesday.
the bus picked us up at 9.30 and we got a bus-tour through berlin. east and west.
it was quite nice, but i couldn't take much good pictures because of the windows and the sun.
we were kicked out of the bus and went to hang at the brandenburger tor, got some starbucks and watched breakdancers.
after that we walked a bit and went to the former headquarters of the gestapo. there were pictures of the second world war.
some quite vulgar. dead people hanging from the gallows and mass-graves.
it wasn't nice to see, but also quite impressive. after that we walked to checkpoint charlie. probably the most touristic thing i ever saw.
we were set free again and bought booze at the lidl. that evening we went to alexander-platz again to drink the booze.
because yes, in berlin you can drink in public <3
tuesday )

wednesday
the bus was late >.>
and we went to former concentration camp Sachsenhausen.
when walking around there it was really weird. i couldn't understand that thousands of people died there.
because it was bombed and most things were rebuild so it looked 'too new' or 'too fake'
we got a tour through the whole camp. this was a working camp not an extirmenation camp like auschwitz.
the difference is that in sachsenhausen they let people work to death and in auschwitz they were simply shot or gassed.
anyway, after the tour we went back to berlin (sachsenhausen is 35 km from berlin)
in the bus i had a little breakdown, homesick and i felt a little ignored. because while at sachsenhausen i kept walking alone and all.
(seems to happen a lot though >.>)
anyway.
they dumped us at KaDeWe (kaufhaus des westen) a HUGE mall with brandnames like chanel and w/e.
we went shopping. and i got a piercing.
we sat down a lot as well, it was hot and we had sore feet.
eventually we ended up at a small japanese restaurant and ate there. it was really good and really cheap!
i even talked to the waiter, because i said i knew a few japanese words. and he teached me some as well!
that evening we went to a 'revue' which is like a show full of singing, dancing and acrobatics (or w/e it's called)
which was quite impressive as well.
wednesday )

thursday.
the bus was half an hour late, because 2 people overslept.
then we finally went to the pergamon museum.
it was actually quite boring. it had a lot of greek and turkish art and whatever.
but most of it was fake >.>
anyway, we were outside quite quickly again and drank some cola.
we had the afternoon off again, and they dropped us at KaDeWe again.
but nobody wanted to hang around there, so we took the subway to alexander-platz.
we ate at burgerking and then we went off to find neotokyo and extrax.
we didn't really understand how the german count houses and all.
so we ended up walking over the WHOLE schönhauserallee, which was REALLY long.
we found extrax but it wasn't really my taste and maureen didn't have money so we were out quickly again.
we walked back to the beginning of the the street. we still didn't find neotokyo.
i texted someone to give me the address, which was schonhauserallee 188, which was at the beginning.
so when we arrived at 188 we still didn't see it. we walked around the corner and there it was >.>
anyway, once inside i found it to be a crappy store.
they almost didn't have anything i wanted. so i only bought  the code of the vulgar[ism], the final single and a crappy 2 euro magazine.
then we went back home and found out it was only a 10 minute walk to neotokyo from our home.
in the evening maureen went out and i stayed home to sleep, i really couldn't even stand on my feet anymore.
thursday )

friday
the bus left at 8.30.
and almost everyone was hungover and had less then 2 hours of sleep.
so the bus was quite dead because everyone was sleeping.
i ended up sleeping on a guy (tiemen) from the other class. and when the bus suddenly stopped i almost fell and woke up >.>
and around 4.30/5.00 pm we were back at school.
my mom picked me up and we quickly went home XDD
